Been a crazy year so far with people brining me Z's that I'm not looking for yet at the same time they are too cheap to pass up. Picked up a 1990 NA a few weeks ago. Figured I could use it as a daily driver and the wife has been complaining about wanting to drive a Z ever since I sold my last NA. The body/paint is in bad shape. Hail dents, large dent behind the drivers door, paint chips, scratches, etc. Drivers side door has easily 50+ door dings in it, most down to the primer. He said his wife had a deathwish for the Z. Has a few mods and it was worth more to part it out so I couldnt lose. Interior was all there just needs cleaned up a little. The motor is actually Telegraphs old NA motor from when I did his NA-TT swap years ago. The guy cleaned it up, put on new hoses and such. It runs very well. He just never finsihed his project so it sat for a few years. Figured I would post some pics of the paint work I'm doing. As I said the paint is terrible. I think he had it sitting outside most of the time. Being its so far gone I dont want to do too much to it, but I wanted to at least try and make it shine a little. It could use wet sanded and such, but as you can see its covered in dents so not really worth all the time. What sucks is I had a ton of red body parts that I sold over the past 2 years that were in great condition. Now I could use them all back :( I hit it with a quick 4 step Prima Care system so far. No wax yet. Quite a difference.
